Finding Your 'Why': The First Step to Transforming Your Life

You may be asking, "Deanna, I’m a part of this community now, but where do I start? How do I start to grow? How do I really change my life?"

The first piece of advice I can give you is to figure out your why! This is an essential step to the start of your journey. You are the only one who can figure this out. Let's dive in!

First, I'll let you know my why, it wouldn't a community if I didn't share!

My why is first my son. I want my son to live the best possible life he can with financial freedom and the will to live in his purpose. I want him to have the opportunity to try whatever his heart desires. In order for me to do that, I have to have financial freedom for myself. Which is my 2nd reason why. I do not want to be apart of this generational cycle of work, retire, death. I want to live to my fullest potential, I want to travel the world, see my designs worldwide, give my son opportunity and give back to my mother everything that she has done for me. Through developing, I have found my purpose to serve others. To be in a position where I can help families make passive income and make women feel beautiful at the same time. My fashion is my why, each and every one of you are my why. I want to impact your life in such a way that you see your worth every time you can look in the mirror. For your family to never live in poverty and see the beauty of the world.

The first piece of advice I can give you is to figure out your why! This is an essential step to the start of your journey. You are the only one who can figure this out. Let's dive in!

-Why Finding Your 'Why' Matters

Understanding your 'why' is the foundation of any significant transformation. It's the deep-seated reason that drives you to make changes, the purpose behind your goals, and the motivation that keeps you going even when things get tough. Without a clear 'why,' it's easy to lose focus and give up when challenges arise.

-How to Discover Your 'Why'

1. Reflect on Your Values and Passions
- Take some time to think about what truly matters to you. What are your core values? What activities or causes ignite your passion? Your 'why' often lies at the intersection of what you love and what you believe in.

2. Identify Your Strengths and Talents
- Consider your unique strengths and talents. How can these be used to make a positive impact in your life and the lives of others? Your 'why' should align with what you naturally excel at, making your journey both fulfilling and impactful.

3. Think About Your Long-Term Goals
- Where do you see yourself in 5, 10, or 20 years? What kind of life do you want to build? Your 'why' should be a guiding light, helping you to stay on course as you work towards your long-term aspirations.

4. Ask Yourself Deep Questions
- Delve into questions like: What makes you feel alive? What would you regret not doing if you were at the end of your life? What legacy do you want to leave behind? These questions can help you uncover your true motivations and desires.

Putting Your 'Why' into Action

Once you have a clear understanding of your 'why,' it's time to put it into action:

1. Set Meaningful Goals
- Align your goals with your 'why.' Ensure they are specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART). This alignment will keep you motivated and focused.

2. Create a Plan
- Develop a step-by-step plan to achieve your goals. Break down big objectives into smaller, manageable tasks. This makes the journey less overwhelming and more achievable.

3. Stay Committed
- Keep your 'why' at the forefront of your mind. Write it down, create a vision board, or set reminders. This will help you stay committed and resilient, especially during tough times.

4. Surround Yourself with Support
- Engage with like-minded individuals who share similar values and goals. A supportive community can provide encouragement, accountability, and inspiration.

5. Be Adaptable
- Life is unpredictable, and sometimes your path may change. Be open to adjusting your goals and plans while keeping your 'why' intact. Flexibility is key to long-term success.
